email and pm trick

i am on a french gaming forum and i received quite some emails and pm from them asking to click on ads for them to improve and survive.. that's pretty cunning as google has no way of knowing it... but quite annoying to constantly receive such emails.. but dun think will report them.. it's a good forum and i understand their need for money

 

It doesn't matter if they need money.
They shouldn't be asking their users to click on the ads.

 

You'll be suprised what google and the advertiser can do to stop something liek that. If its not bombed, then fine, but if they continue to do it on a daily basis, and some of the ads are from teh same advertiser, the advertiser will track the IP, and tell google to block them.

Best thing is to tell that guy hes breaking ToS, and ripping off the advertiser. If he wants money, tell him to have a donation account and tell his friends to get the word out that he needs some cash.

 

sooner or later someone will report it to google, may the force be with that forum after that!!

 

My advice to you: Report them.
