Elite Jets Affiliate - $300 Commission - Anyone Successful?

I was promoting the Elite Jet program for quite a while. I had some leads as well and a lot of solid traffic. None ever converted though. I didn't expect it to but figured it'd be worth it to promote in case any of my ads generated some big traffic. Has anyone been successful with the Elite Jet $300 commission for a booked flight?

The EPC and 3 Month EPC is listed at $0. Just wanted to know if there was any tips or info from other affiliates with this advertiser and program. Thanks!

Some programs are just hard to make sales. I think you would need vert trageted traffic and alot of it.

Absolutely. I was just wondering if anyone else had some success. It's definitely hard to sell a flight on a private jet, no question. But if the program has NEVER made a sale on CJ then it's not worth promoting even with the right traffic? I just don't want to pour energy into a project that has no chance or is unlikely to succed from the outset. Best.

I received a few leads from them, but they never converted. I stopped promoting them a while ago. The $300.00 commission reads well, but there seems to be no payout at all.

Maybe they should pay a much much smaller amount for valid leads and lower the commission for sales. I'd definitely market flights with Elite Jet if they paid $2 per quote request and then $200 for a sale. If 50 leads ($2x 50 = $100) doesn't convert then it's not worth anyone promoting the program. But if there is any conversion with the program it'll generate more marketing for elite jet, while providing both a fair commission for publishers and a more immediate incentive for bringing them traffic. Some short term benefit with the promise of a big potential long term gain. This program really caught my interest. Somehow one of my blog posts got attatched to some background sites - as link at the end of an online Wall Street Journal Article on renting Private Jets. Traffic and leads but no commission. Just my thoughts : )

u r selling to the ultra-rich. typically they don't buy pdts off net, especially thru afilliate sites/emails/links..

if u can get into exec suites..gof courses..do this..if not sell other thgs...hope it helps u do good market segmentation...

Yes i think when people wanna buy stuff like that, they prospect online and then buy offline,
If you got solid traffic for it try selling easy jet they sell online only i guess?

Interesting and thanks for the tips. Maybe I should contact the affiliate manager about the lead idea? Would you promote the program if they paid a smaller commission for quote requests and reduced the commission for booked flights in turn? Thanks for the tips as well.

My Elite Jets affiliation was terminated this month. I checked the program terms and it now reads $5.00 per lead, but the $300.00 commission is no longer in their terms.
    ---------
Program Term: EJ Cost Per Lead Program

    1. Action: Lead Generated
ActionCriteria Customer needs to complete a lead form on Elite Jets site with valid contact information.
    Action Referral Period 45 day(s)
    Action Referral Occurrences Unlimited
    Commission $5.00 USD
Locking Period - Standard Actions lock on the 10th of the month, unless extended.
