elite directories

    I just want to clear something up. Elite directories are directories that have incredibly rigorous submission guidelines, or only allow a very limited number of websites.

    Or am I wrong?

    That would be a good definition of elite. High PR directories might also come into that description.

    But it probably depends who is talking. Someone might also mean by elite directories, those that are at the top of their game, ie the most successful and prominent ones in the field. The ones that are on everyone's "top 10 directories" lists.

    Do you have a specific list of elite directories in mind, or are you just asking in general?
