Well, he finally did it. The New York Governor resigned. As a resident of New York, I am pissed that the man thought he could get away with such nonsense when he projected himself as squeaky clean. I am glad he finally resigned. What do you think?
Of course, everyone knew Bill was a sleaze before he was voted in. Spitzer ran as above all that and he had an image of being the choir boy of politics. Besides, he didn't just cheat, he bought sex and shipped it across state lines. They say he spent about $80,000 over time.
At least he did resign, it shows that he actually believes what he did was wrong unlike a former president who lied about it and when truth came out he still stayed put and people defended him. Maybe it was because he got a free hooker instead of a paid one???
do you really think someone would pay for monica....nevermind...he did go after that jennifer flowers girl also...and a few other ugly ones.
Perfectly awesome that he doesn’t have a career anymore. It’s not the idea of it, it’s the integrity. Anybody is entitled to go out buying prostitutes, it wouldn’t of been such a deal if he didn’t base his whole career putting guys in prison who were involved in similar situations as he’s in right now, I think it wasn’t bearable to remain in power, it wouldn’t be right. He doesn’t have nor request my sympathy, what he done was wrong, and by the looks of it, the pervert wasn’t planning to stop, good thing he got caught. You don’t need more crocket teeth men in power, it looks idiotic. I’m apprising the fact that he’s gone, deepest hopes for his wife and children, who have to endure his hypocrisy, where’s Christie (the sold prostitute)? The media has nothing to do when waiting for another poorly developed racism attack against Obama, the world is facing serious issues, this man has a loyal wife to his side, yet he sneaks around? Putting vindictive pleasure over sworn integrity? Stepping in the office, putting five million men behind bars for doing something he’s secretly doing? That’s call plain hypocrisy. Even a slight few members here from DP could make better than this human disgrace. I’m calling for him to spend jail-time.
It is a pity that they can't fire governors, or it would be much better to have him fired than just allowing him to resign.
Do you really care about his private life if he did a good job as a Governor? Is it really a good thing to NY?
Peter Packer and Wendy’s stockings, of course, who can’t throw men in prison for which a crime they committed himself, what a hero! Son, he basically has a GOVERNOR record of throwing men in prison for the shit he’s been recently found doing, of course a splendid job, UNTIL you do it yourself (which he now is being proven guilty), so what must happen next? Let him continue to prosecute men for a crime in which he does himself? That’s basic hypocrisy, it is! I don’t see where proven hypocrisy is tolerated in authority over a State? It’s not private when you’ve done a crime you’ve publicly expressed ethic-wise, verbally, and through legal actions you’re against that particular crime. An apology and appeal of reinstatement would be required before dismissing that his governance is basically based upon opposing a crime in which he now committed. One State is not ran by one man BTW, it takes a whole body, he gets credit, it has been that way for years, his ignorant departure really doesn’t hurt the state, the whole body publicly is represented through a single governor, there are real men working to keep the state maintained, not one man, if it was so, a lot of foolishness would’ve commenced. His departure is in no way affecting the state, dispatch that myth. There is a new Governor in town now, not a dishonest pervert.
His whole reputation is based on being squeaky clean. He vowed to fight all crime against the very thing he did. As far as doing a good job, his overall rating as Governor was very low. He has done nothing he claimed to do and now he turns out to be much different than he claimed to be. As far as just his personal life, it was more than that. An affair would be just a personal life issue. He hired a prostitute and had her travel across state lines from NY to Washington DC. The very thing he fought against as Attorney General. Yes, I believe it is a good thing for NY. It is better to know the man's true character before he made it further. There was talk of a possible run for President in the future.
