Please read the entire post thank you. OK I have two pages to compare. First off I know there are warnings but I may say in vain that they probably have nothing to do with the disappearing act taking place. Second I know there are loads of inline css that is not the point now. OK to the question, I have these two pages with identical html elements on them. If you go to one and view the source it is the same as the other element wise. The order and everything is the same. But on the first page there are several elements that disappear from the DOM all together even though they are in the html of the page. I can not figure this out for the life of me. First the disappearing page url www .ivwebsites .com/disappear.html now the page where things do not disappear www .ivwebsites .com/disappear2.html I must also say that I am not even sure it is a css problem but I validated the html and it checks out not errors or warnings to speak about. Thanks for the reply.
Hello, I have never had this problem before on my page in IE6. But when you hover over the menu in the archives box, the menu itself disappears and the h3 disappears. I don't want this. Is this some kind of bug or something? I validated the html and the css, only error came up where I have the transparent png function. I'm sure that's not affecting it in any way, but still I need your help. Thank you, Davis Audrey
You say there are no HTML errors yet the validator shows 54, though most of them are just alt errors. You don't say you validated your CSS where there are also a few errors. It's obvious from the markup that you used some kind of Microsoft software which is using non-standard properties.
