I suppose the machine doesn't vote by itself. It's used by the humans voting their candidates. Of course, if the machine is programmed to vote by itself, then the result of the election could favor the candidate supported by the machine's programmer..
It has been proven that these machines can be manipulated.Besides will every polling station have a backup generator? What happens if there is a power failure on election day?
i think not a good plan for voting by machines, people will use for his candidate............................
India is using EVMs from 1999, Its good use the EVMs since the counting is fast. Also very secure, becuase in the paper ballots culprits can attack the polling booth and do bogus voting.
