Researchers at Cambridge and Oxford universities believe both scientists displayed signs of Asperger's Syndrome. Many people with Asperger's are often regarded as being eccentric. They sometimes lack social skills, are obsessed with complex topics and can have problems communicating. This latest research suggests that Einstein, who is credited with developing the theory of relativity, and Newton, who discovered the laws of gravity, had these traits to varying degrees. They contradict Einstein's behaviour with the symptoms a bit in the article. One cannot be a loner and have good social skills/friends/humour etc - the article is almost grasping at straws to try and link Einstein to Asperger's.
I'm never impressed with studies that find historical figures having symptoms of this or that disorder, long after their deaths.
Einstein was a Pisces - he acted according to his given attitude. He might of had some social phobia which developed into others type phobia aswell. Just a thought.

Yes, einstein did have some communication problems in early childhood. there are rumors that he couldn't speak big sentences or many words together at a stretch till he was 4 or so. Later he could speak, but still he was at times hesitating to speak much. But, what many dont know is... from his early life... he had a book with him wherever he went. His sister later on said that she was always used to wonder that einstein always had a book in his hand... and many times he would be seen writing stuff in it. He didnt speak much.. but he did used to think and conclude a lot. And a good habit.. he used to write it. Just thought i might share....
When he spoke ppl problem couldn't understand him Cu's of his high intelligent. Pisces are not much on speaking they sat back and listen.
