Also, I understand what you have quoted, but then you terribly, horribly misunderstand the Bible. See, the Old Testament temple rules of Leviticus, Deuteronomy, etc where only in force when the Temple of Jerusalem existed. When the Temple was destroyed by the Romans in 70 AD, the rules of the temple no longer applied and are not to be followed. These facts were patiently explained to you on another thread, but as usual you ignore facts that contradict your bigotry.

You are confusing "God's word" with the laws of the temple. Common confusion.

Think of the laws of the temple as you would state and federal laws. As I recall, Jewish society centered around the Temple of Jerusalem. When the temple was destroyed, Jewish society splintered and went in different physical directions, mostly into Europe.

Leviticus et al gives the good Jewish student a sense of history of where they came from, and how that history connects with today. Gives a sense of roots. That's important. If all Christians respected their history in the same way they wouldn't come up with such horrible misinterpretations of the Bible (like creationism).
