Agreed bogart Barry Obama has his socialist hands full on this one. Just days before Vice President Bidan said he supported Egyptian President. I heard Biden slipped on a stick. SMACK OFF TOPIC: P.S : IE9 I am using as of today and it sucks in Digital Point. http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=2078263#post15703119
Joe Biden says Egypt's Mubarak no dictator, he shouldn't step down By Dan Murphy, Staff writer / January 27, 2011 ... and wonders what the Egyptian protesters want. Vice President Joe Biden spoke to the PBS NewsHour tonight with the most direct US governent comments yet about the gathering Egypt protests against President Hosni Mubarak's 29-year reign. Mr. Biden's comments are unlikely to be well-received by regime opponents, as they fit a narrative of steadfast US support for a government they want to bring down. About eight protesters and one policeman have died this week as Egypt has sought to bring down the heavy hand of the state against opponents. Since the US provides about $1.3 billion in military aid to Egypt a year, the repressive apparatus of the state is seen by many in Egypt as hand in glove with the US. http://www.csmonitor.com/World/Back...-s-Mubarak-no-dictator-he-shouldn-t-step-down
Here's a video of them protesting Mubarak in Wahington D.C.
if we add a huge money come from tourism then I wonder with such resources Egypt is still a poor country. Shame Mobarak. yeah the condition of Egypt is more similar to Iranian on 1979 (just we hadn't cellular phone, internet and satellite dishes on that time). on that time Iranian had good opinion about Islam faith but hadn't any idea about Shariah law and Islamic regimen. Iranian sake of democracy on 1979 and we had democracy till Saddam invade us. after war started, Iran gradually went in the way of extremist when we saw a brutal regimen attacked us and all the world were helping Iraqi regimen but hope Egyptian have better chance. yeah some Iranian also talk about it and scare of such unity and alliance.
yeah many Iranian blame Carter for our revolution, sigh! that's particular, seems for Joe Biden telling lie isn't a prublem! anyway he isn't US president so guess now Obama is thinking of Egypt after Mu-barak!
1.5 billion is peanuts compared to what Egypt gives to the USA and the Zionists. Hopefully, soon an ally will be lost.
History is happening before your eyes and all you can do is hope the few parties over there that don't have their panties in a wad over Jew vs Muslim discord cease to be allies? There are quite enough people that hate each other without hoping to up the numbers. Not sure why peace pisses you off.
Peace will be attained when the cowboys mind their own business. Keep red reps coming guys, I enjoy them.
As you are not involved it seems unlikely you can make such promises, and as you don't live in either place it means it isn't your business either. Maybe you Should just quit doing your juvenile war chants and discuss the unfolding history instead of trying to infect others with your personal prejudice.
It seems you cannot bear my strong words so you must give out red reps (and hiding your name too). coward. join my ignore list.
Strong words? Must a missed those. I just saw the weak ones about wishing others would fight wars and about big tough men executing women for not following their backward ass rules. Men that enjoy picking on girls are the real cowards, as are those that wish wars they don't have to fight on other people just because they want to satiate their own prejudice.
Just as the previous Administration (Bush) in Iraqi. Egypt should have worked harder to solve the Palestinian issue than suppressing it.
Rob's a real man and I'm willing to bet anything that if he gave you a red rep, he'd sign it. Great post Rob, always makes me smile to read such sentiments from men
This has nothing to do with the Palestinian issue. Egypt has enough problems of their own than to deal with the Palestinian issue.
On a side note, anyone worried about the Muslim Brotherhood play into this revolution? As it seems, they are taking a back seat until things get calm and possibly with the leave of Mubarak. Then they will get into action because that is their best shot. I just hope the Egyptian people realize this.
I just realized it got really calm today as they turned the internet back on. Mostly praying on the streets. Seems they want fresh produce etc which hasn't been drove in lately. Time to regroup. I think the Jets flying over lower and lower and the more and more tanks as of today put alot back into their place. There was alot of armed robbery going on in museums etc.
