    Long established company with a large user base. Your money is actually backed up by real gold.
    Easy to get an account.
    People are willing to pay a premium for egold at about 10% above value.

    CON:
    Egold is the preffered method for the HYIP crowd as you cannot reverse a transaction.
    The biggest con is that you cannot withdraw money without using a third party and as a result you pay extra fees and even get scammed.
    I have only found 1 decent website where you can use your egold to buy mainstream products.


    I think the company itself is very reliable, but I also think egold is used by a lot of scammers as transactions can't be reversed or disputed.

    Recommendation: get an account, after all it is free, but also get a paypal account.

    yes, many scammers use E-Gold, but even more use PayPal;)
