EFT not validating.

Discussion in 'Payments' started by Roman, Nov 2, 2005.

I got a deposit from AS today to validate my account for EFT, but when I input ithe amount to activate EFT payment in my AS account I got an error message that the amount was wrong. I double checked, re-entered it again and again it was wrong. I now have 2 tries left til my bank account becomes invalid. I haved email G. Just wondering if anyone else encountered this problem.

Roman1 - how are you inputting the amount?

    for example:
    0.55 versus .55

that could be an issue ... however, it may be best to wait to hear from G themselves.

Also, did you use a reply email address that's associated with your AS account? That makes a huge difference in response time.

It won't let you put in .55, has to be 0.55.

I did email them. I have 1 try left so I guess I have to wait til they respond.

I did my EFT validation back in February, so I honestly can't remember; sorry Roman1 - thought it was worth asking just in case.

    I can't remember ever doing a validation.
Although you'd see the amount in your bank account in your local currency, it could be that G are wanting you to input the amount if USD.

No don't think so, I had to put in the amount in Euro. (My local currency).

Whew .... you were down to your last attempt too. Glad it worked out for you roman1.

Did they give you a "consultation" bonus for pointing out the error? :D

I had the same problem like you, I even went step for step through every action: I press 0, I move the mouse cursor to the cents box, I press number 7, press number 5, I click ... etc etc, it just wouldn't validate.

Personally I don't think they have found what's causing it, I think they're just validating the account manually.
In the meantime, still no money in my account. Great that EFT, super fast... not! In the meantime they take the 2 months interest over $2500 dollar and put it in their own pocket and none of you dumbasses ever thought of that.
