    My AS account says

Click the Required Action(s) below for information on resolving your hold. Changes made to these settings after the 15th of the month may apply to either the current or next payment cycle.

    Required Action
EFT failed - please enter and verify a new bank account

Is anyone else getting this now that they are trying to fix their exchange rate screw-up?

I sent them an email and will post the result. Did they have some kind of big party recently, they must all be drunk or hung over.

I would assume they know about it by now...I'm just gonna wait for another email or until the notice is gone. I would expect it to be gone once the adjustment payment processes.

I wonder if it's giving us that error because of the 'cancelled payment'.

I got it also, payment failed.

My guess is that is is just part of the exchange rate error, that the payment is automatically flaged as deposit failed because of the exchange rate error.

Entering the same account is prolly alright, though maybe payments will be one month late.

Just guessing, would like to hear what you guys find out, no reason for all of us mailing Google.

Same here. My heart sank into my stomach when I saw that pink "Your payments are currently on hold "notice. I've had ETF for over a year with no problems. Glad to hear it's not just me.

Funny update, i just checked my bank account, and i HAVE got the money, from the exchange rate error (alot less than it should have been), so the transfer went through eventhough google say it didnt.

I'm in no hurry though, so waiting to hear from others before mailing google.

I'm wondering if it's because they manually cancelled them? Probably some unforseen bug.

I bet they're really glad they don't have any major competitors right now :p

It also happened to me. I also sent Adsense support an email. In my case, the deposit worked. I think they tried to reverse the deposit and THAT was the transaction that failed. Since the error was to pay me LESS than I had earned, I'm not sure what all the panic was about - just deposit the rest and i won't tell anyone you screwed up. :D

What I did as an interim measure is switch back to payment by mail. When they resolve the EFT issue, I'll return to that payment mode. In the meantime, I WANT MY MONEY, GOOGLE! :D :D

I don't want payment by mail...getting the currency converted I'm finding is a huge pain.

    Just got a response:

    Thank you for your inquiry.

We are aware that your AdSense account appears to be on hold and that your
bank account is marked "DEPOSIT FAILED". This is not affecting payment, so
you can expect your bank account to be credited in the next couple of
days. We will be removing the hold and resetting your bank account to
'VERIFIED' by the end of the week.
