Football videos all organized with Wordpress (meaning site can be easily edited and updated). All videos are categorized, can be rated, and offers related videos.

Just recently added Google AdSense adverts so that the next owner can put some work into the site and perhaps create a revenue stream.

Site is search engine optimised. clean urls etc.. e.g.

Domain cost me $200 (£100), from an online auction. Very easy to remember and brandable.

Domain is with Namecheap and expires Thu 07/05/2007, just open a free namecheap account and i can push the domain name straight over instantly. I dont mind hosting the site for a month or two, that isn't a problem.

I only added videos in the first few months, then a few more in April, this is why the traffic grew very quickly. I left the site alone after that and worked on other projects. If you kept adding videos and features you could have this back up to 2000+ unique visitors per month over the UK Premier League season.

What are the hosting requirments on this? Does it need mysql etc or is it just basic php / html? And how easy is it to add content?

Also will you help with the transfer to my host?

Hi Pyrad, Sorry been a little bit busy.

It runs on Wordpress, which needs PHP and MySQL support. Most hosts have those technologies, in fact, I'd say *ALL* hosts have those.

To add content you just login to an online control panel, find a video that people will like on YouTube, add the relevant categories and use a title that will be picked up by the search engines. It's *very* easy to add content and I don't mind helping anyone out over MSN.

I recommend looking on Xtratime.org forums and adding the new up and coming players, as you get onto the search listings very quickly.

I'll try to help transfer it to you, its usually never a problem if you have cPanel. Or you could host it with me for a cheap price.

 

If somebody sends a fairly decent offer today I'll accept it as I'm busy over the next few days.
