    Hey all,

How are direct links to affiliate products treated in the content network? I will be setting up a campaign only for the content network with the search network disabled using my affiliate url as the destination url.

I don't have much adwords experience but I know on the search network they only display the highest performing affiliate url and the others don't get shown.

Is there something similar on the content network? If you are direct linking will your bids be raised or less of a chance of getting displayed? Please let me know any effects of using direct links on the content network. Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure if in theory the same thing applies to the content network, but i do know that i've seen duplicate display urls on the same page with ads.

Go ahead and try it out. Worst thing that could happen is your ad wont show.

Normally you should get some impressions, but then Google don't show your ads anymore. You need a merchant with a trusted domain to do well on content.
