Hi, I need some advice before i start promoting my website in the following sources. Yahoo groups google groups mybloglog Firstly yahoo groups - will it be effective if i create a group and start inviting members or will they treat me as spam?.Also how will be the traffic-are they going to be one time visitors like social networking?Can i post article there with deep links as i do in article directories?will they ban me? Then what is mybloglog concept i find it similar to yahoo groups just inviting members.Is there any unique promotion technique to handle blogs? This is it.I need answers as well as your experience. Good idea to increase traffic by alternate method. But it will not increase the ranking of your website. Because yahoo group is also no follow.
It will be more viable to post in other related and established groups rather than creating your own group. Posting in groups where there are many members can fetch good quality traffic.
I will prefer to work with Yahoo answers than Yahoo Groups. Yahoo answers will give you backlinks and it will really help a lot. I will also suggest to go for social bookmarking which will give you a lot traffic.
