I'm looking for some advice... Need to install wordpress and same theme on 130 different sites. Any advice on how to do these more efficiently than going one by one through all of them?

You could hand edit the code to look for the plugins and themes in one central location. It would be a bit heavy on labor the first time out, but any changes to the plugins or themes could be done in one spot and only need to be done once. Easy upkeep anyways. If you make the changes for the first install and then merely copy that to the other 130 sites, it would cut way back on initial setup as well.

Dude first time you need to activate theme on each site individually otherwise it is not possible and same is the case with installation as well. You will have to set up each site individually .

The active theme is set in the DB, so if you set up the first site with the settings and then copy everything including the DB it should carry over.

There is a way to use the same theme and wordpress files to use it for any number of domains with different DB for each domain. just little bit of programming work. :D

K... this is what I figured. Obviously faster than installing one by one, but not all that much better. Thanks for your help.

If you want spend some $$, you can try wp cloner from mass automation. Now, they converted from plugin to server software. It's very easy to duplicate blog theme...
