Effective Squidoo Marketing

    Ok, so I made a new gaming/entertainment site called GamrZone that will have free games and free movie on it.

    Right now the page rank overall seo of the site is nill so I was thinking about making Squidoo lenses and using them to drive traffic and google juice to the site.

    I was thinking about a couple options:

    1. Make one game lens and one movie lens and talk about each game or movie on those lenses while linking to the site

    2. Make a new lens for each game/movie (I'm not sure how much content those could have?)

    3. Make lenses for unrelated games and movies and link them to my site (In conjunction with 1 or 2)

    So any ideas how to most effectively market my site with Squidoo?

    (I already know I can market my Squidoo lenses with Squidoo on Mixx)

    you cant just reply on this and your lense url's are going to need to be keyword rich to be worth it :)

    Option 2 is probably easiest, but effective: one lens for each pair of game and movie. You would then link from the lens to the specific pages on your site that relate to it. That's assuming that your game and movie are related.

    Alternatively, create a few lenses; each featuring a number of games and/or movies. This works best with games/movies that are similar to each other. You don't need much content for each one; just a description, picture and a link. Put in links from your lens to each of the games/movies on your websites, with maybe another link at the bottom to your homepage.

    Include screenshots and videos on your lens too.

    Oh, and link all your lenses to each other. You could even build a private group for them to all belong too.

    Ditto to what Cryogenius said, plus a bit more:

    The lenses on individual games and movies will generally be more effective because people searching for specific titles are more likely to click through and take related action. Link those lenses to your more general gaming and movie lenses and before you know it you will have a Squidoo presence that is sure to funnel search engine traffic to your site.

    You may even make some affiliate sales, too (if you add Amazon modules or other affiliate links to your lenses).
