Hi there! I'm just new with Google Adwords and tried a couple of campaigns with one or two ad variations. I've learned to do Google Adwords by reading stuff/articles/blogs in the internet and basically just following "google instructions". After one month of monitoring it, I'm not very much satisfied that I only got a small portion of conversions (like 3% weekly). Out of the 2,747 clicks, I only have 102 conversions =( Is it something to do with my website? Or maybe I can "tweak" my google adwords setting to get more conversions. If you can recommend me websites wherein I can learn more "tricks of the trade", please do. Thank you so much and more power! Vee (Manila, Philippines)
Hi Vee, 3% is slightly below average, but it is all relative to your website and its landing page. What is the conversion you are tracking? By making sure that the user doesn't need to click anywhere else to get what they're looking for will improve your conversion rate. But that is very good for just a month. It takes time and a lot of nurturing to get your account optimizing at its most efficient. Joe, Accounts Manager, PinkSheep
VioletStore, What's your ROI with 3% conversions ? And the price of your product ? Joe, 3% slightly below average, based on how many accounts you have seen ?
You have a 3.7% conversion ratio... Now you just need to calculate ROI's and start adjusting CPCs to turn a profit.
ROI is exactly what you need to calculate. If you are making money more than you invested you are on the right track as sales will improve. You need to provide the product on the landing page clearly so that the user is not confused. Thanks Kapil Khaneja
If you have too much links on landing page then remove that also make your landing page size (Hight) small.
Hi guys! Thanks so much for your replies. I'm doing a bit of changing and a lot of monitoring with our Google ads! All of your comments were fabolous! Mucho Gracias!
It doesn't matter if you have a 3%,10% or 0.1% conversion, the ROI matters and if you are on the positive side it is good and just keep the good work.
