stumbled on this site just now...

    http://www.talkaboutnetwork.com/

seems like they have a damn good adsense placement and SEO, wow..

probably pulls in over 10 g's a month?

does anyone know where I can get a forum system like theirs.... or maybe I could have a programmer do it for me..

looks very effective at targeting many adsense categories...

I wouldn't consider this auto-generated content. This is similar to somthing like Google groups. If they manage to use usenet feeds and provide a good interface to it and attract lots of visitors, there is nothing wrong with that in my books.

I think that "title" thing comes from autosubmitting blog software like http://www.wpburner.com.

I tried a trial version of a similiar program the other day, and it did the same thing with the "title" bit. It's software that submits 3 posts at a time to over a hundred blogs. Good for getting your site spidered quick I guess. I gave it a try, and it made a mess of my blog.

I swear there is a business waiting to happen: basically a blog which charges a couple of dollars to substantively review your website and post about it...

    Hmmm.

Now that you have mentioned it on a busy forum like DP, I bet we will see an offer such as this one within the week :) Should be pretty easy, eh?

Well not sure how long it's been up but all those pages are only as good as the traffic they get. I just did a test and did some quoted searches for what I figured were unique terms and got zero results.

So if it's been launched for anything of time maybe the coder wasted his time.

    Terms used:
    "liquidation of political commissars"
    "purports to show library ownership"

I thought about and then discarded the idea of massive machine generated content. I want to make a living working with Google, why would I work against them?

Recycling newsgroups isn't really fresh content is it? Even with a new interface. I mean I could probably dream up a better way to display ODP but should I build yet another clone?
