    I want to change the domain name for my website but I am worried that my current link exchanges will be wasted. Will the search engines treat the 2 domain names as one, if I do a permanent redirect in the header?

    If I have 100 link exchanges for one website and 50 for the other will the search engines know that I have 150 overall?

    Also is it really bad to change your domain name for your website?
