Looks like sites with keyword in domain alaways gets placed on top of the search results regardless of PR. Is this true?

first you have a very wrong idea about seo if you think that pr has anything to do with rankings (atleast not the pr you see on the toolbar); but yes, most of the time keyword rich domains will get exceptional rankings because of many factors: 1) there is definitely a Quick Boost from all the search engines especially msn and yahoo (google too) when your domain name "IS" or contain your keyword, so somehow you have a position to start with, most of the time if your website is your targeted keyword, you get into the top 20 easily from the beginning as soon as you get a few decent links. 2) Then Because of the Extreme domain relevancy, there is High click rate on your website, even when you are only in the top 20, this data is later used by google to improve their results; (if a site ranked #9 is getting 5 times more clicks than their number #1 result, it tells them that they are doing something wrong), and sooner or later the keyword rich domains will get exeptional rankings. 3)Anchor of the Links; naturally when your website is tomandjerry.com, people will link to you with the anchor text: "Tom and Jerry", and tons of other variations but almost always "tom and jerry" will be in the link text, anchor text is one of the most important ranking factors, so it help dramatically those sites.
Domain name can be important but so is the URL, i.e. the name of a sub-page. Good keywords in your content, backed up by page title and relevant backlinks is more important.
It's because PR is probably most overestimated value in SEO. If site is in general good optimised (sign of which is domain-keyword relevancy), has a lot o relevant backlinks, and tons of backlinks altogether why should poor PR prevent it from ranking good. I saw somewhere in the Net research which shown that PR has the greatest influence on SERP where extremely high competition level is set, but still it wasn't regarded as the most important factor.
yea Gatorade this is right one because if there is any keyword like say loan, payday loan, home loan in your domain this may benefits but if content is poor then there's not benefit for your site because google doesn't give any preference like these but may be yahoo or msn offering some profits..
