I have recently listen from google blog that now google caffeine update for every data center and google will display facebook, twitter results on the search pages. So what you think this is good or bad for SEO?
if you read the article on google blog .they have written over there that google caffeine is not going to effect the ranking in search engine, caffine is just for the fast indexing of your site, google will index pages fast as compared to earlier , so google caffeine not going to effect seo
I'd heard about that it will display social networking site in search engine result. I think in one or the other way it will give benefit in terms of SEO.
Caffeine is not a ranking change nor a factor and no one would be able to tell IF caffeine would really have a factor in terms of SEO. Just update your blog more often, the more often you update, the more often bots will visit your website.
Google Caffeine is only for fast indexing of the websites. Since many of the social networking sites includes fresh content and that's what Google wants to display in the search results.
I don't think that Caffeine is ONLY for fast indexing websites, It's more like Caffeine LIKES fast indexing websites but still applies to ALL websites.
Ok I agree with it, but what I think that suppose for any keyword our site ranked on first page, but if google show different results like video, image, facebook results etc. on the search page for that specific keyword, then we will not get our site on first page, so will it not effect on SEO?
It will effect but a little bit... It's true that Google will now index every data centre but It's a hard task to rank the twitter and facebook link on first page so it will not give you the competition on first page...
google caffeine is good for indexing of the website. So keep updating content on the site for more indexing since Google keep searching new content.

Caffeine is going to have direct effect on ranking. Google has improve there server and data center to work more. Now they not only crawl a site much faster but can also apply all google algorithms much faster which mean that duplicate data and low value link which were you were able to use early to getting ranking and keep maintaining it by some more same kind of link will not be possible. Many of you have already observed that site not doing Quality work have lost there ranking or isn't so?
I know there's been a big deal made about it but I haven't actually noticed any difference. Not in indexing, rank orders, PR or anything. It seems like it was made into a bigger deal than it really is.
