Effect of Geo Redirecting Pages on Google SEO?

    Hey guys,

I'm currently trying to do some Geo Redirecting on my website in order to keep US poker players off of it due to new laws. I'm not sure, but does anybody know if Google would view this as some type of cloaking and penalize me? I'm currently ranked very very high for my terms and I don't want to compromise this.

    Thanks!

Poker is dead, as is pokeraffiliateworld.co thanks to the goverment. If you
live outside of the us don't bother to redirect, but if you live in us move out
while you can. Escape artists have good articles about the horrible changes
in us, not only about poker but lots of changes that you should read.

Give it a go and trye, if you get banned or penalized then you know and you
can share it with us !

Okay, although your post contained almost nothing that I could consider helpful, I'm going to post what I found out.

    1) Geo Redirect has no impact on SEO
    2) Only transactions related to 'illegal online gambling' are punishable by law.
    3) Current law does not include online poker or online casinos as "illegal online gambling" so we are techinically in the clear and poker will come back.
