Do you think caching php results into html sites makes any difference on your place on Google index? Or are there any benefits of caching other than better performance?

You will improve your response time, which is a factor within the google algorithm, so it'll have benefits. Unless you cache pages for a very long time (so Google will see less updates on your pages) it won't harm.
