    Does anyone have a list of .edu sites that allow you to place a link on there websites? I imagin this list would be rather small but could be extremely helpful.

    hehe, I was obvioulsy kidding a bit:)

    I've seen a few (like the ones listed above) and would say there's no more value in those links than their would be in any other type of directory link. When I first found them I actually thought it was funny that schools felt the need to run a directory on their site...

    A link is a link though.

    Well, if you can get on instructors' bookmark lists you've got an .edu link right there. If there is something you can offer that is useful to their students you could approach them that way.
