actually, most edu forums are password protected, there are most likely for education purpose or general chat based on certain topics for staffs/students

A while ago, fellow DP member was selling some forum positions. Try to digg "umbrella technologies" or something close to it, in the freebies section and you'll find a lot of info there.

Not sure how much luck you'll have, but try Googling this :"forums site:.edu" (without the quotes)

    Google this:

    inurl:"forum" inurl:".edu"

Also you may get some more effecient search results searching for this:

    inurl:"forum" inurl:".edu" phpbb or inurl:"forum" inurl:".edu" vbulletin

My own hot tip there, good luck :)

I have found some that are for community colleges, They have the .edu extesion. The forums are open to the public but they are loaded with spam posts. Are these worthwhile to post in?

Yes, I found a ton of .edu and .gov forums some months ago as well - all spammed to hell with poker, pills and porn ... nothing special...

Also you can try buy that weird $7 ebook that tells you how to spam .edu blogs ethically... *g* lol
