Today for the first time, I could access a .edu email and I saw that these emails are connected to gmail, a google account. It was no fun to use an edu email, since so many people hype it on the internet for getting an edu email. I guess this is just another way to attract people to get such emails and waste their time and money. I wonder how and why would google get connected with such edu emails ? Is it that they are targeting the students through Universities and Schools? Or is it the University, who must have approached them to connect with google?
