Where do i buy .edu domains. Godaddy doesn't sell them. And what are the requirements. My mom runs a small private school and wants a .edu domain. Thanks.

Is your mom's school and officially accredited educational institution? If not, she can't get one.

you can't just 'buy' an .edu domain. you need to go through the government for one as far as I know. You need proof of accredidation and I doubt they will give you one for a high school. Only colleges/universities can get them

Well For schools also they don't just throw it away.

It should be a national school. And if you are talking about schools out of US. then there is very less chance of getting it.

I guess you need to own a school, so the Ministry of Teaching, or how it's called, must give you along with the license...

Yes, she is accredited by the CA Bureau for Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education... which means she is fully licensed to offer 4 year and doctorate degrees.

Here is all the information you need for getting a .edu domain name, including .edu naming policies and officially recognized accrediting bodies.
So, basically get your mom's school accredited as a postsecondary institution of education by a recognized accrediting body and you're good to go. (It looks like the bppve is not recongnized).

You're welcome. Now you just have to go about finding how to get accredited.
