EDU Backlinks and No Increase In SERP?

    Hey guys, I created about 5 .edu profile anchor links and have not seen any increase in SERP. I also ping the profile. Is there a time frame it takes see this increase? Thanks

    I would advice you to wait for some time. No one can guarantee you about how long will it take for google to update its algo.
    In the mean time keep adding backlinks.

    getting 5 .edu backlink does not guarantee increase in ranking, yes it may help if done properly along with other process. It also depends upon which anchor text are u using, for which keyword you r checking ranking and a lots of factor does matters.

    unless they are on a authority website, it wont make much difference for you.
    plus you have to give it some time, it could take months before you can see changes.

    5.....that's a good start.....keep at it. You need to continue to add more backlinks.....AND then you will see your rise in the SERPs!
