editors.dmoz.org[referral] 1

got one click from Dmoz looks like some one finally looked at my link but did not find it good enough to approve

 

They may have moved it to a different category

 

i searched my link in whole directory but could not find it, is it like editor add it straigh away after reviewing or takes some time ?

 

If the editor thinks it's not in the right category they'll send it to another one and it'll join the back of the queue to be reviewed again.

 

Or, your site wasn't accepted.

I had the same referral yesterday too, and it doesn't appear in that category, so it's probably been rejected or moved.

 

sad news :< really i have been browing thousands of links in dmoz and there had been hundereds of sites which were one page and without any content which were listed in and i have content of 23k pages

 

Thats' the Standard of Dmoz make yourself belive thats its good that you arent listed in a Dir who doesn't respect sites like yours

 

Or randomly checked to make sure the link was really working, or randomly checked to see if it was in the right category, or clicked by accident by someone meaning to check another one, or....

A referral from dmoz really is meaningless in respect to a site review because there is an infinite number of reasons why a log would show a dmoz referral and an actual review is but one possibility.

 

Don't forget that your site might have been added. The public update of DMOZ might not reflect the addition of your site, yet.

If you are listed, remember, before popping the cork off that champagne bottle, that if your dmoz link has any influence at all on your rankings, it's probably not enough to notice.

Ok this is thread update, yesterday i saw 1 click from editor.dmoz and today i am watching 4 enteries from dmoz to my site in statcounter stats those enteries are coming from exact subdirectory i had submitted my site into, i got excited and rushed to that directory and searched for my site and it was not there Now what could be the matter :s really confused

Ok by the time i was posting my first thread now i can see one more click and different ip from same directory :S

 

It could take 15 days to get listed after approval.
