When I write my blogs, I use Microsoft Word and then I post the article in Frontpage to put in the hyperlinks. I notice that when I upload my html code to my website that the writing has a different appearance and the writing don't look the same as it does in Frontpage. What tools are you guys using to write your blog posts?

I use windows livewriter, add links, pictures etc, then upload to my blog using livewriter's interface. Works a treat for me. Only problem is it doesn't have the spellchecker etc that you'd have in MS Word.

Scotia, I never heard of Livewriter and will have to check it out.

Walweg1010, I don't really like writing in notepad because I sometimes forget to hit the enter key but I'm willing to try using it.

Don't use anything. Many editors screw up when pasted onto wordpress, besides, they really aren't necessary. The WP editor has just about anything you need just to write a simple article, and if it's not enough, there are enough plug ins that give you even more functionality.
What could possibly be missing, you can control font size, color, insert every kind of media there is, most code, and it has spell check.
If you simply must write it on something else and then copy it over, use notepad.

Try this for once - disable visual editor in Wordpress, and then copy paste the article from frontpage/Microsoft Word to Wordpress editor (normal one).

This sounds like a good tip! I will try disabling visual editor in wordpress. I like to write my blog posts in word instead of wordpress because I'm not sure how I want to write the article. Also, I like to save a back up copy of the blog posts on my hard drive. Thanks for the advice, guys!
