People use to say that when they were taking Jews away. :p

Its not so much problem in existence of adult section but the fact that it looks like affiliate links haven that is most of it useless junk.

Oh Julian, you are so clever with them thare words you are getting me all confused. Now you being and adult webmaster n all, and with links from your sites like I mentioned earlier that are just as bad as any thing in Dmoz I wouldn't have expected you to go wobbly at the knees at at a few rude words.

You seem to have a self loathing thing going on, perhaps you should consider Flagellantism, I know you have some sort of obsession with Christians, perhaps a regular self thrashing in the name of Jesus is what you need. Please take this advice in the spirit it was intended Julian, I am Just trying to help you become a well rounded person.

Have you ever had problem with anything that your "business partners" in DMOZ do? Do you have a problem with pedophile listings? Do you have problem with affiliate links in porn, gambling, pharmacy, travel and real estate? Do you have problem with "senior" editors selling links all over the Internet?

I wonder with so many lights on DMOZ's corruption, why doesn't google take action and stop using them? Why doesn't AOL change stuff ?

If you "claim" you are not the big supporter of "free speech" for pedophiles, the solution is very simple, just post your editor name and everyone can read your posts in the internal forum. :D

I am still wondering if your interest in listing those sites is because of the exchange that you have done with some other editors (I list your site, you list my sites) or is it because you are personally interested in that subject.

I bet you were really mad when you lost and DMOZ was forced to remove your favorite links. :D

If you think that there can be any parallels between the removal of an editor at ODP and mass extermination of the Jewish people you must be a whole lot sicker than I could ever imagine.

Ah, perhaps here lies the truth gworld is sick as a parrot because some of his porn sites have been removed.

Really? Why don't you tell us which one and who removed it?

I am still waiting for your reply to this question:

Julian, Julian, Julian, you are putting me in the middle of some great argument that I was not party too. Yes child pornography should be banned, sites that encourage or foster child abuse should be banned. But there is a porn genre that you are familiar with and that is the border line pedophile sites with titles like teenie something or barely legal. You know just like the ones that you have in your site I mentioned earlier. Even if the adult section of the ODP remains I would those types of sites removed.

You never answered me about the Flagellantism thing, I really think you should consider it, it would probably be much less destructive than some of your other pursuits.

What no useful post from the great Gworld? Minstrel will be disappointed. Don't you think that you should be getting rid of the teenie sites? Or are they OK in the world of Julian?

Still silence on the Flagellantism as well. Admit it, you are tempted. After a hard day tromping around spinning lies and deception you could you home and thrash your sins away.

I am still waiting that you post your editor name and prove me wrong? Are you afraid that if people know your name, they won't let you near their children?

I'm admin of many boards, and I can say without a doubt that most submitters that get the troll treatment are past members with a sockpuppet pretending to be a new member with a new issue... it takes an IQ of 50 to read "other accounts using this IP"... surely the chances of "george" and "bill" with similar issues and same IP are the same lying individual.

... not always, but come on, the rarity beat 4 aces.

Also the forum isn't there for a complaints department because you think you deserve a listing and its 1, 3, 6, 12 months or 2 years and you demand action.

IMHO they do an outstanding job there answering the similar questions from people that don't know any better day after day after day... and with great respect... and when the trolls come out to play - they have a great sense of humor.

    They play only with winners!

Every successful organization has a "hate me club" and Google ain't so dumb to believe everything that is written... same with AOL... serious people take 'em to court for serious issues rather than playing games in forums.

You are getting weaker by the day Julain. The "everyone who does not agree with me is a child molester approach" is wearing a bit thin. OK you don't want to rebut that a daily self-thrashing would improve your outlook on life. And you are shaking in fear at the idea of a discussion about your "teenie" sites. What have you done with the great Gworld who could stop traffic with a single scathing word.

I'm an admin on many boards as well, I was also an editor for DMOZ and had that title on RZ at one point. I can tell you right now that "editors" on RZ do not have access to see duplicate account IPs. They are trolling and flaming simply out of the goodness of their own hearts.

Though, I can agree with you about the mods and admin having the ability, though question whether or not they bother.

I didn't say editors did... I don't bother much with RZ posting but can pick out sockpuppets at SEOChat without even looking (since I can't)... posting style is difficult to fake for very long.

Google has all but ignored DMOZ and their own DMOZ-clone directory for a long time. You can find it (the Google Directory) if you know where to look but it's certainly not easy to find.

I'd suggest you not rely on Google to prop up the withering dinosaur that is DMOZ. Google didn't get where it is today by propping up losers.

My prediction is that AOL will eventually come to the same conclusion.

I am not sure that google is propping anyone up or even doing a lot of listening on this matter. They will be judging how much importance to place on the ODP by how it helps (or harms) their relevancy just like they do with any other site on the Internet. It may be that they be using it as one of their seed sites for trustrank, but who knows for sure if they even implement that process.

It is very hard to work out exactly AOL plans are at this point.
