editing wordpress theme?

I'm confused by the way wordpress templated!

I'm trying to edit header... http://blog.flunkme.com/ how do I remove that blue thing at the top? and move header to top?

If you figure out how to be able to ad own code in template post it. That is what i want to know.

 

yeah, I figured it out... its easy go to theme folder and open: footer.php sidebar.php and u edit out whatever u want respectively.
