I had posted a thread about earning by reading mails online along with payment proof few DP members posted reply by saying that the site is a scam.

Can I post a self reply for the reply which was given by other DP members or can I edit my orignal post and add some new lines.

Why wouldn't you just post a normal reply on their objections point by point?

It's better to edit the post if it is within 8 hours of you posting. Otherwise you will have to make another reply.

Would editing the original post not make the thread confusing (ie. If someone replies they have an issue with something that was said and then it disappears)

If someone makes a claim in the thread, you can reply in the thread. However, you may not reply in the thread if you received complaints via PM, or in any way that would constitute bumping.
