Editing text link ads in CJ

    Hey! I was wondering if it's allowed to edit the anchor text (is that what it's called?) in the text links to blend in with my page content? I mean I know I'm not allowed to edit the html code, but can I alter the text displaying on the site? Instead of having some (fairly dumb looking) advertisement text lines here and there..

    for example default: <link>Buy the new Ford Mustang 08 now and get a $1000 discount!</link>
    changed to: The other day when I was driving around in my <link>new mustang</link> I hit a giant squirrel..

    Get it? Will I still see normal commissions or will I get banned? (sorry I'm new to CJ)

    You can do anything with it, Just don't edit the affliate link :)

    Generally OK so long as you don't do something misleading. And some (very few) merchants are pretty uptight about how you "spell" their name. eBags insists on using a lowercase 'e' and uppercase 'B', and will throw a flying monkey fit it you change it to Ebags, E Bags, E-bags, or any other variation.
