I have a question about mac users. How do you edit HTML on mac laptops/computers? What I mean by editing is to create/edit HTMl files and code them all by hand. Can you still open up the HTML file in notepad and edit the file like on a PC or do you have to use some sort of program? I checked out the mac browser (Safari) but didn't find an edit option, I'm assuming I would need to download IE to do this? Thanks.
You simply open your favorite text editor and begin work. OSX is a modern os, and as a web development platform is far superior to Windows. As a Unix type os, you have the native capability to do about anything *nix, including running the huge suite of tools that the *nix crowd enjoys. The only thing anyone needs IE for is to see how badly it screws up a web page, so you can apply some work-around to get past its shortcomings and bugs. Trouble is (or maybe the Good Thing) that MSFT has orphaned IE for Mac. You'll need a Winbox for that. cheers, gary
