Editing content of table (PHP & Mysql)

    Dear Sirs & Madam,

    Im new to PHP, I am learning PHP bit by. I want to display one of the records in the table by typing ID in the text box of Form. I need that record to be displayed in editable mode. Then to update the that record after edinting. So please help me to send sample code for this.

    You haven't found a million and one "guest book" tutorials or similar that show how to do just that?

    How far can you get on your own? Connect to the database? display the contents of the table? create a "new record" form?

    i to all PHP prgrammming mastersI have problems retriveing and updating mysql data. I have exactly the copied the code from the below mention link. Althogh there is edit menu which is clickable, but table is completly empty. So what is wrong here. help me pleasee ( phpeveryday .com / index .php ? p = 284)
