Editing category in wordpress

    A friend of mine has a wordpress blog with 1000+ posts. Right now there are 3 categories (of relevance to this thread) - tips, windows and featured. He wants to move all posts in "tips" and "featured" category to "Windows" category. Is there an easy way to do this as its almost impossible to move it manually as there are 1000+ posts!

    are you using the uncategorized category? if no, change it's name to Windows, and delete the tips and featured categories(category names, not posts). then, all the posts will go to Windows category.

    No all the three categories already exist...anyways I have found a plugin that can convert categories to tags. So let me see if I can use it with Extended categories plugin..
