Hey Users, When i initially started my SEO on the website XYZ.com, there were lot of backlinks created on the keyword 'ABC' with home page in the hyperlink. After few months of our promotion, the targeted page on the keyword 'ABC' was changed to XYZ.com/ABC.html and the SEO was carried forward on the same page till date. Now Can i edit all the previous backlinks again and change the targeted keyword "ABC" to the new page i.e. www.xyz.com/abc.html? Will that be effecting in SERP or will that harm my website?
I suggest you to target different keyword for your inner page. Target other abc related keyword for your new page because if you change your keyword from homepage to inner page then it will spoil all your older hard work that you have been done in past.
Hello This is not the better way this will create the problem in your SERP because once you create the back link for A page now you want to need all link for other page this will not good for seo if you delete the first page for which you created the links then you can redirect all these to your new one. But to make it for existing will not be better for SEO.

It is not recommended actually even it's possible to be done. You'll lose ranking in few days. Please note that, Domain authority and Page Authority is different. So, don't expect the result will be the same.
