Editing Adsense ads

Is editing of adsense ad code possible???
In beta blogger ad code shoul be edited as follows
Replace < with &lt; and replace > with &gt; to include the ads in post body..
Is this a violation of TOS??
Please do reply some have told me that this is allowed and doesnt violate TOS

Technically modifying the code is against the TOS and what you describe, however slight, is still a modification. I wouldn't risk it without seeking official clarification - they can be fickle when it comes to rules.

 

any of the adsense publisher are allowed to edit any part of adsense code. it's a big risk to do
