Editing a wordpress template

    hello everyone
    i dont know much about the coding stuff and i just got a new wordpress template and i wanna know the programming languages used to create it ( what i know : html css js and php) and how to access to (html css php) folders and edit them manually .

    Hello.
    now people used bootstrap to create websites and themes.
    you need to first learn html,css,bootstrap ,php,jquery specially to create wordpress themes and then you can move to wordpress codex..
    when you will install a wordpress theme in wordpress you will see a theme editor page there you can see html,css,php and other files which will show seperate as header.php,footer.php etc

    WordPress is php based CMS (Content Management System). After learning WordPress you must to web design. At last you should know html5, css3, psd to html, javaScript basic, jQuery. Using this language you should create few project then go development part. Php is a server side programming language you should know that. Then you can able to learn WordPress Development.

    If you don't follow this steps, you must fall in problem to learn WordPress.

    you can easily find tuts in youtube.youtube is best to get tutorial of any course.you can further get help from w3schools.com or developphp.com or original php site

    Just unzip the theme file and edit whatever you want. Those will be organized according WP theme structure.

    WordPress is the most easy platform to work on , just go through some YouTube videos, and just focus on some basics of html5, some meta tags, and font styles and most importantly how to create the link.

    surf internet , and follow some YouTube videos.

    You can get many references on internet ..you can go through...

    And Yes..YouTube video will be help to learn about how to edite wordpress template.

    On a side note, and of course depending on exactly what it is you need to alter, you may want to consider creating a "child theme" for your Wordpress template and alter the files on that child theme rather than the underlying Wordpress template so that it isn't compromised.
