Why can't you edit posts that are over a certain date?

I need to edit some posts that I have made. I have needed to do this several times.

I have repeorted the posts before but they never get removed.

This latest thread is essential that its removed. (Legal reasons)

 

I think to remove a post you should contact the Admin with legal orders.

 

It's a really annoying "feature" of vBulletin. I've turned if off on every vBulletin forum I've run. If people want to edit their posts, I let them edit their posts.

 

If you really need to edit something you should contact the Mods

 

I think this feature is good for control reasons.

 

I too think it is good for an active forum like this. Think of somebody who offers something and after attracting some buyers editing the first post.

 

What are some names of the people.

I dont think its appropriate contacting Shawn but I have tried to find some mods online for the past 72 hours and they are never on

Annoying indeed but certainly it's up to administratrors enable or disable such feature.

A forum like this obviusly needs this feature turned on, specially forums inside business
