Edit PHP file

Hi everybody
Can you tell me what is the best software to edit PHP file?

 

I use Eclipse with PHP plugin mostly or NotePad++ for simple tasks. There are plenty others and it comes down to personal preference. Some like PHPEdit, RapidPHP, Dreamweaver among many others. Just try some

 

pspad! Seems like it is pretty good for me.

 

UEStudio is extremely fine for any programming languages

 

Notepad++ does all the tricks for you imo. The only thing it doesn't do is actually help you figure out how PHP works. If you want PHP helper editors I recommend PHP Developer 2007 or Dreamweaver. However, notepad++ is just simple and amazing .

 

I've always been a fan of Crimson Editor. It's real simple like Notepad++

 

What I need to know is that whether you can edit the Template of a script with all these software?

PHP Expert Editor Is one of the best

 

I use SciTE - free and does the job well.

oh, has highlighting too

 

I'm using PHP Designer 2007. It used to be free, but since a year or so there's a pro version, and the free version doesn't has many features.
Though, I bought the pro version, quite cheap for all things you get.
