Check your junk mail, they are definitely being sent if that option is enabled.

This is lame! I think users shouldn't be able to modify their posts after say 10-15 minutes. I mean Jez...The only time you should modify your post is when for instance you post an auction and then you're like "oh gosh! I wrote the price wrong..." so you go back and correct it or smth. similar. What could you possibly want to modify after 8 hours...You sell smth. for 5 bucks and some one replies "Wow! What a great product and very cheap too!" And then after 8 hours you make it 50???? WTF is that?

Asking mods to modify your post is also LAME. Why do you feel that it's ok to create an extra work for mods because of your own incompetence? Jesus Christ....

This whole thread is lame!! So, you received infractions for double thread, bumping and other crap, then you start a thread about how you received them and now you are complaining that you didn't receive a notification email? Would you like a phone call as well?

Ah...whatever....I'm not in my best mood today...whatever.....

That would still take it out of context. I agree with Bender. People should just plan ahead better. If an offering changed significantly, it's a new deal worth a new thread.

I wonder if it would be fine to announce the change with a new post. But, then if there are too many posts in that thread, people will just read the first message and go to the last post....But, I guess people shouldn't be obliged to read the whole thread to find out what the deal is...I'm just sayin cuz I've seen people doing this (and once did it myself...:p)

    Cheers
