Edit/Delete not working?

I want to delete two threads made yesterday during DP's downtime (or rather before it's downtime) but I can't find a delete option anywhere. Would I have to contact a mod for this?

Also, I tried editing this thread (rather than adding info and getting an infraction) but the option isn't there. The edit button doesn't show up. Although when I gave a response to another thread earlier it did. Is there something wrong?

 

There's a time limit on editing/deleting threads.

Use the report post feature (triangle in upper right of each post) if you want a thread closed or edited. Mods won't delete them.

 

I wasn't sure whether or not to contact a mod but thanks for clarifying that. =)
