Sure, after a few days / weeks (depends on the quality of the site) the Google spyders will visit your site again and will find the links.

You have to wait for some time before the spiders start to crawl it. Once it does, the new links will appear in their index. Not an issue here.

Any type of "editing" will give you the ability to obtain a link. Just make sure that the page has page rank and has been cached before.

Suggestion, if the "edited page" has page rank applied to it, then place a link to the "edited page" on your "home page". When your home page is indexed, the "edited page" will be scheduled for indexing. Once it has been indexed, remove the link.

Yes it will be eventually found.

You could use a free pinging service after making the change

    e.g. pingoat.com or pingomatic.com or ping.in

This can get the attention of the google bot if you're lucky.

Alternatively add a social bookmark or two, or other social media site pointing to that website would likely speed things up.

A digg link would likely force a google bot revisit fairly quickly.

    Cheers

I am not sure wha's the problem here :) the next time when google crawl your page, they will index the link.

Here is a tip for quick crawl - add some new tags too
