EDD or WooCommerce for digital downloads?

    I want to setup a digital downloads store, and I'm caught between EDD and WooCommerce. I know EDD is recommended for DDL's but are there specific reasons why it's better than just using WooCommerce and it's DDL options?

    go for woocommerce , as you will be able to use a lot of extensions for it, to give you more traffic to your site. your store will start to promote itself.

    Does EDD though do anything specifically really good though for digital downloads? which WooCommerce doesn't do?

    Yeah i use WooCommerce on a few Wordpress websites. Work's fine & looks good :) - it's a doddle too.
