Anyone want to explain or list the reasons for decreasing eCPM?

    Ad Network: Adversal

(Though the ad network I am using is Adversal, this question is actually in general so what I am actually looking for is reasons for decreasing eCPM not why eCPM for Adversal specifically is decreasing)

One of the reasons is that advertisers have ron campaigns running on the ad networks.
When new sites join the network these campaigns start getting traffic from the new site and the advertiser is paying the generic ron bid they have set.
Once advertisers collect enough data from the new site, if it doesn't perform well for them, they either stop buying traffic on that site or lower the bid for that site.
Either way, that's why the eCPM for the publisher can decrease after some time.

Okay seems fair, what would a good amount of impressions be?

This a fairly new site and I just implemented Adversal around a month and a half ago, so for example I have been getting around 8-10k impressions everday and my ecpm was rising to where it was about .25 ecpm by end of march.
Then suddenly in April my ecpm dropped to .08-.09 ecpm and hasn't gone back ever since even though my daily impressions have increased to 12-13k.
It was rather confusing as my impressions have gone up, my traffic has gone up, my CTR has also gone up, but the ecpm just dropped so I had no clue what was going on.

So in the end what is a good amount of impressions to have or traffic in order to make the ecpm rise again?

In your case it seems that some advertisers either dropped their bids or removed completely your site from their campaigns.
At this point you sending more traffic it won't help getting those advertisers back to increase your ecpm. They probably dropped because your traffic was not converting for them.
I think the best you can do is talk with your account manager and he can try talking with some advertisers on the network to start bidding on your site.

Hmm converting the CTR has been rising though, so do you mean they think it's invalid activity? Oh one more thing does switching to https also have anything to do with it? I have heard that switching to https lowers ad revenue also because less ads are oriented for https sites?

Without seeing the data it's hard to tell because a lot of different things can happen. But if there's less advertisers placing bids on your site, the ones that keep advertising on your site pay less.
Just because there's less competition for your traffic, the advertisers for which your site works end up paying less.
One way to solve this problem is with price floors. I've never worked with Adversal but for AdSense you need to set floors in order to get the max revenue possible.
But again if you have an account manager at Adversal the best is talking with him/her.

As far as http vs https I'm not sure what's the answer.
