Well as we all know the American economy has taken a dramatic downfall. My question is how is the internet market doing? I have never heard of anyone speak about this.
for me it is bad because of the exchange rate i work in euros and pounds because of my residence however most of the internet works in $ and so now i am only making half what i made before for the same amount of work.... this is bad
Good topic, mystic. You're right, no one talks about it. My travel site took a small hit, but because of the high gas prices(?) my store's doing better. I guess it depends on your niche. Some things are just recession-proof.
The internet market doesn't rely solely on the economic downturn in the U.S. Because most website prices are in U.S (at least from my perspective), the exchange rate from higher currencies in other nations will result in increased business for U.S. based online retailers. Now, those doing business in other currencies (such as the Canadian dollar, GP, euro), will find it harder to attract U.S. customers.
so are you guys suggesting that even though the american economy is in a recession it has not affected the E business market? So people who have had business online through websites have not felt an affect of this?
