A friend of mine needs help increasing conversions on his site. Please advice. The site is finished and fully working. Thanks http://www.kamagracentral.com
Are you using Google analytics funnels to see where your traffic drops, instead of converting? You basically define the "path" from landing to converting page, and see where is your bottleneck.
Since you are in a very competitive niche i would recommend to add a lot of customer testimonials and show them on the frontpage.
I found running some really small adword campaigns helped - ask your web people to help you, mine came up with a whole list of keywords and i ran a really small campaign that got me some sales through. thinking of advertising on facebook now too so see how that plays out
You can go to google ad where you can find What people are searching for on the web Then Get backlinks from good sites, post original content on your site constantly.
For starters, the site loads really really slowly (for me at least). That would put me off purchasing anything from the site. Secondly, the overall site design doesn't look professional or trusthworthy at all. Your about us page doesn't say much. Your contact us page is just a short form. No address, no telephone number. Your 100% satisfaction guarantee doesn't say much too. It's not surprising the people don't buy. Fix the above, and you should be able to generate some sales (ofcourse providing the site receives targeted traffic).
If the conversion is low, that mean they will have two major problem 1st is about the content , which is not attractive or not the customer that would like to see. Second would be the target market. The place you making SEO or marketing place maybe the wrong market.
farang, I think that your friend's site is beautiful. I don't think your design is the problem here, at least in my opinion. You could always do some split-testing with Adwords if you have the budget of course. However, you could elaborate a little more on your return, guarantee and contact pages. Maybe add some testimonials. That could generally increase trust and conversions. The site also loads a little slow. OP, I have some questions for you. I am making an e-commerce site of my own, it's in a different niche, clothing niche. How did your friend design the site? Did you guys hire someone to do it or do you do it yourself? How are you powering the shopping cart, with custom coding or something? Anyway good luck with your friend's shop!
Although it's a "risky" move, a lot of e-commerce websites established presence, built brands and raised their credibility by employing social marketing tactics to their overall marketing toolset. I am not an e-commerce specials since I don't do it and probably never will, but maybe, just maybe your friend could try that. You know, it's 2011 and you must think proactive and benefit from every opportunity or potential value you stumble upon.
Seo can help your friend to run his virtual business smoothly. try Google adword campaigns with suitable keywords.
Google likes to see a site that is continuously being developed. Don't just build the site and stop working on it. If you add a new page every few days, Google will know that the site is still being actively developed.
Personally I would hire an SEO specialist, it's very easy to burn a lot of money in PPC. SEO will get you the best results and will give you a passive income in the long run.
Load Time again and, above the fold it looks like crap, people like to see big pretty pictures. Move the Copy lower.
Your site is extremely slow... Also there are problems with the shopping cart. Shows I have items in my cart but when I goto view it shows nothing. The entire javascript thing doesnt do it for me either. Seems to have a ton of problems with ie8
